With winter behind us and spring before us, Epiphany is preparing for Holy Week, 2019. Summer is on the way, and Ligonier is ready for their first summer with its new Diamond park.

Easter & Holy Week 2019

Epiphany will be observing Holy Week 2019 with four traditional Easter services. All are welcome to join in the celebration of God’s redeeming work in Jesus’s resurrection, and remember the promise that death is not the end.

Palm Sunday: The traditional start of Holy Week that recalls Jesus’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem and concludes with the recitation of the Passion narrative. Sunday, April 14, 10:00 a.m.

Maundy Thursday: A service that recalls the Last Supper, the betrayal of Judas, and Jesus’s call to love one another as He Himself loves. Join the church before the service with a potluck. Thursday, April 18, Potluck at 6:00 p.m., Service at 7:00 p.m.

Good Friday: A solemn service of repentance that remembers Jesus’s crucifixion, suffering and death. Friday, April 19, 7:00 p.m.

Easter Sunday: A special celebration of Jesus’s resurrection from the dead. Casual dress welcome, Easter dress welcome too. No Sunday School or post-service hospitality today. Sunday, April 21, 2019, 10:00 a.m.

Sunday Services & Bible Study

Lent is in full swing, and pastor Bryan will be preaching through a number of Psalms throughout the season of Lent. The walking with Jesus Bible Study continues each morning at 9:00 a.m. Services are held in the Moriah Chapel, Bible Study meets in the Bethlen Community Center.

Evening Prayer & Pizza Night

Epiphany continues its once-a-month traditions of Evening Prayer and Pizza Night. The two Wednesday evening events are scheduled monthly, and will be announced through the church’s email newsletter .

Midweek Bible Study: 1 and 2 Thessalonians

Our midweek Bible Study continues in the cottage coffee shop in Bethlen’s community center building. The study will be going through 1 and 2 Thessalonians, using a study guide authored by Anglican bible scholar and evangelist John Stott. The study will continue at 2:15 p.m. on Tuesdays throughout March, April, and May. Sign up for the church’s email news for updates.
